At NMCC, we are a nonprofit counseling and consulting ministry serving the Upstate of South Carolina and neighboring North Carolina counties. Our commitment is to provide the professional training, life, and ministry experience to help you, your children, or your marriage through the struggles or stuck places you may be experiencing. There are times that we all need some direction and encouragement. Our counseling perspective is to integrate clinically based techniques with a biblical worldview to enhance abundant life and Great Commission involvement. We will do our best to make you, and those that you refer, to feel welcome and safe during the counseling journey.

Our Team
Dr. Keith Phillips, Director & Counselor
Dr. Phillips is a Licensed Professional Counselor and supervisor. His therapy style is a cognitive behavioral approach integrated with a biblical worldview. He is certified as a Prepare and Enrich Marriage Counselor, as well as an Anger Management Specialist. Keith has worked with substance abuse clients at Miracle Hill Ministries and The Forrester Center. Prior to receiving his Doctorate of Ministry from North Greenville University, he received his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. He and his wife Norma Lynn, served in various ministry capacities while on staff at First Baptist Spartanburg including the beginning of New Day Counseling Ministry before retiring in 2021.
