FAQ

  • Where is NMCC located?

We are graciously and temporarily located in the offices of Love Springs Baptist Church at 562 Sunny Slope Dr. Cowpens, SC. Please pray as we seek a permanent location.

  • How do I make an appointment?

Call or text us at 864-316-2792 to schedule your appointment. Your call is completely confidential and will be answered by the close of our next business day, either Tuesday 9-4 or Wednesday 9-4. An intake form will be emailed to you. This is a fillable form for you to complete online asap. Once the form is completed, simply return it to us by email, and your appointment will be set up asap.

  • Cancellation Policy

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry we operate on a scheduled appointment basis. When cancelling an appointment, our policy is for clients to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Otherwise, the client's credit card is subject to a $30.00 cancellation fee. This is not intended to be unkind, but appointment times are extremely important, they determine our financial ability to offer counseling services in our community as well as openings for many others to schedule appointments. We ask that you accept this policy when making your appointment. Thank you for understanding and for agreeing to these terms.

  • What should I expect in counseling?

It may be that life has gotten difficult or you just need some direction and encouragement. There are times we all need guidance. We will do our best to make you feel welcome and safe during your counseling journey.

  • Do you accept insurance?

If it is an option, we can work with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at your employer on the number of sessions they cover. But we do not file for insurance payments. We can complete a “super bill” receipt that you can use to file with your insurance company if you choose to do so. Keep in mind that the insurance company will require a diagnosis which could be placed on your health records.
